Currently on my cd player? Well a mix of old and new. New (not so new) danceable,pop,fusion from the Middle East, Spain or Latin America? I'm there, listening. Like latest from Tarkan (Dudu)and Mustafa Sandal(Kop)-both Turkish-. Believe it or not, I'm also listening to late 70's/early 80's Argentinian/Spanish rock band "Tequila" and their "Confidencial" album (rebel and contagious rock n' roll) or how about Chile's Joe Vasconcellos. Recommend cd titled "Vivo" which is a live recording from 1999; good quality recording and unstoppable rhythms (a mix of latin folk, pop and rock).

Mediterranean Colors

Guess everything started with a magazine picture at a Borders store. I think it was the Architectural Digest magazine, August issue (2000? I'll double check), which specializes on International Real Estate. There it was, a picture of a vacation home in one of the Greek Islands...what a beatiful combination of nature and architecture. I thought, this is really a place where I'd like to live whether it's Greece or Mexico, that picture pulled my heart. I had to learn more about my gusto for such setting.
